KC to SEA

So after our wonderful honeymoon, we came home to a house that we had to pack up into moving pods in 2 days-so much to do!  We had some wonderful friends, Mary and Andy, who helped out and made it go much smoother.

Our real estate agent Melissa Josenberger helped us stage the house after we moved out as well as helped shovel snow after the crazy snowstorms in KC we were glad we missed.

We thank her so much and appreciate all the work she has done for us!  Our house is up for sale-pass along to anyone you know is looking for a cute home in Roeland Park near I-35, KU Med, Country Club Plaza and more!

On our last night at "home" we only had a few things left in the refrigerator-a couple of Coors Light and our wedding cake :)  Since we weren't going to be able to take the cake with us to eat on our first anniversary, we decided to dig in.

We got up early (early!) on a Wednesday morning to start our 2-day trek to the Pacific Northwest.

One last photo before leaving

We drove through parts of the country I'd never been through, stayed the night in Billings, MT and arrived in Seattle in the evening on day 2 of driving.  We made it, exhausted but excited, to start our new adventure!
