Snow Day!

        After seeing all of the stories of snow and ice and cold temps from our friends and family back in Indiana and Kansas/Missouri, we decided to venture out for a taste of what they were getting.  Our winter has been fairly mild: 30-40 degrees, gray with bouts of rain here and there, one day of snow (which melted that same afternoon) with a few dips in temperature down to the teens and 20's.  Nothing compared to our Midwest experiences!

      So we took a 45 minute drive east to Snoqualmie Pass, passed ski areas, sno-parks and tubing hills.  It was a whole other world!

      Right after we let Della out of the car, she went nuts!  She love love loves the snow!  We had fun too but I was glad we could leave it behind and head home : )

     We came home and we ALL took a good nap...Della came in, layed down and didn't move for a couple hours!  We had a great time playing in the snow.  Later that night we ended up with a bit of snow outside our yard which was unexpected but fun!

    This weekend started week 14 of the pregnancy.  We also headed out for an early Valentine's Day with  dinner and a movie since Ben leaves for a 2-week work trip Monday.
